HealthcareHealthcare software for the India that books on a phone.

We designed, built and run Aapka, a healthcare platform used by rural and blue-collar customers to find hospitals, book doctors, order lab tests and medicines and manage health cards, in Hindi and English. That experience shapes everything we build in healthcare: inclusive design, partner integrations that stay integrated, invoices that reconcile and operations that hold up in the field.

Our experience

Aapka, a healthcare platform for rural India in daily production use: Android and iOS app, admin console, three diagnostics-partner integrations, Hindi localisation, voice search, dispatch, invoicing and cloud operations.

Fig 3.1The hard parts

What makes healthcare different.

  • 01

Patients who are first-time smartphone users and read Hindi, not English

  • 02

Diagnostics partners each with their own API, status codes and webhooks

  • 03

GST invoicing, reimbursements and the paperwork patients need

  • 04

Field staff who need to be dispatched, tracked and paid

Fig 3.2What we build

  • 04
