What we collect
When you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you send: name, email, company, phone if given, and your message. Our server records the sending IP address to prevent abuse. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. If we add analytics, it will be self-hosted, aggregated and anonymised, and this policy will say so.
Why and for how long
To reply to you and, if we work together, to run the engagement. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months unless a contract follows. Job applications are kept for 12 months after the role closes unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Where it goes
Messages are delivered to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The website runs on Oracle Cloud infrastructure in India. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and applicable laws, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw consent. Email contact@softwaremuskets.com; we respond within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores one preference in your browser: your chosen light or dark theme. Nothing else. No consent banner is needed because nothing is tracked.
