MeraDhan: a savings platform for rural India
MeraDhan is designed to help families in small towns and villages save small amounts regularly, through a trusted local agent or directly on their phone. We built the business plan and investor presentation that took it to its first investors.
Services involved
Fig 4.1Context
Where it started.
A founding team with deep roots in rural India and a first investor meeting on the calendar needed to turn an idea and a spreadsheet into a plan an investor could evaluate. The hard questions were about economics and regulation, not technology.
Fig 4.2Challenge
What made it hard.
- 01
Economics that work for the customer, the local agent and the company at the same time
- 02
Regulatory and compliance questions settled before the product was designed
- 03
A clear view of runway under each scenario
- 04
A lean plan a small founding team could execute
Fig 4.3What we built
Delivered, end to end.
- 01
A three-year financial model with every assumption on one sheet and an independent check that rebuilds the plan from its inputs
- 02
An investor presentation driven entirely by the model
- 03
The agreements and covering materials for the investor process
- 04
A phased plan with clear decision points at each stage
Fig 4.4How we worked
The way we did it.
- 01
Everything in plain English, and no number in the presentation that did not come from the model
- 02
Open assumptions marked as open until the founders settled them
- 03
Scenarios tested live with the founders, so the plan was theirs, not ours
Fig 4.5Outcomes
What changed.
- 01
An investor-ready pack delivered on the founders' timeline
- 02
A shared model the team keeps using as the business evolves
- 03
A clear sequence of what to prove before each round of spending
Stack and methods
- Financial modelling
- Scenario analysis
- Investor materials
- Legal drafting support

- Healthcare
Aapka: a Hindi-first healthcare platform for rural India
Aapka helps people in rural India find hospitals, book doctors, order lab tests and medicines, and look after their family's health, in Hindi and English. We designed it, built it and run it.
- HR & Staffing
HRMS and payroll platform blueprint for a 2,000-employee staffing company
A staffing company with two thousand employees working at client sites is replacing a spreadsheet and an off-the-shelf HR tool with its own system for attendance, leave, payroll and compliance. We produced the complete blueprint for it.
