What you will be doing.

Our Python work spans web platforms in Django, data and AI services in FastAPI, and the pipelines around them. You will build APIs that mobile apps and web front ends depend on, admin consoles that operations teams live in, and increasingly the services that call language models with evals and guardrails around them.

    Build and maintain Django and FastAPI services with clean data models and migrations

  • 02

    Design REST APIs with versioning, auth, rate limits and documentation generated from code

  • 03

    Integrate payments, messaging (SMS, WhatsApp), partner APIs and webhooks

  • 04

    Build evaluation harnesses and guardrails for LLM-powered features

  • 05

    Write tests, set up CI, and own deployments to AWS or Oracle Cloud

  • 06

    Demo weekly and write tracker entries in plain language

    3 to 8 years of production Python

    Django (ORM, admin, DRF) and at least one async framework

    Postgres or MySQL, including query tuning

    Testing with pytest, and a habit of writing tests first for bugs

    Docker, Git, and comfort on a Linux server
